Mailcow is a Docker based email server which provides an elegant web interface for managing domains, mailboxes and more.
Mailcow makes the provisioning and managing of complex email applications easy.
Mailcow is a free, open source software project. A Mailcow server is a collection of Docker containers running different mail server applications, SOGo, Postfix, Dovecot etc. Mailcow provides a modern and easy to use web interface to create and manage email accounts, its features include:
We use Mailcow for our shared email hosting at webarch.email and for most cases using a shared email service makes sense. However for medium to large organisations, which need full control over their email, we are able to provision and maintain private Mailcow virtual servers.
Your own Mailcow server enables you to add an unlimited number of domains, domain admins and email accounts and also to give users unlimited quotas.
We can, optionally, encrypt the disks of Mailcow servers and give clients the ability to set their own encryption passphrase to ensure that their email is as private as possible.
For a complete web based office environment Mailcow and Nextcloud can be integrated, get in touch to discuss you needs and server and support options.
We install Mailcow using our Ansible playbooks, we install HTTPS certificates and these servers are powered by green energy and located in our data centre in Sheffield.
